Synopsis

This book looks in to performance evaluation of different conventional and intelligent controllers implemented with a clear objective to control the speed of DC motor including power factor improvement topology. First of all some passive filter technique is used for power factor improvement and system's mathematical modeling is done. After the mathematical modeling the control objective is set and different kind of controllers are designed to meet the control objective.

Rohit Gupta has done his M.E.& B.Tech in 2012 & 2010 in Control Engg. His areas of research are Control system & Artificial Intelligence.Ruchika Lamba is working as Lecturer in the EIED Thapar University, Patiala.She has done her M.E. degree in 2009 & graduated in 2005 in Instrumentation.Her area of research are Control System & Image Processing.
