The filament wound composite pressure vessels have become very popular in oil and gas transport industries. These pressure vessels are subjected to very high internal pressures during their service. This book present a study on cylindrical shaped carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite pressure vessels. The study demonstrates the effect of fiber orientation angle on the composite pressure vessel. The step by step procedure for the finite element modeling of multilayered composite pressure vessels has been discussed in the book. Various analyses are performed on the composite pressure vessel.

The author is an Assistant Professor in MAE Deptt. at Amity University, U.P., India. She received her M.Tech in CAD from G. B. Technical University, U.P., India in 2012. She obtained her B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from U. P. Technical University, India in year 2008. She has taught wide variety of engineering subject in her teaching career.
