Human identification is one of the most challenging subjects that man has confronted and is a universal process based on scientific principles, mainly involving finger printing. The objective of human identification is to identify and register individuals for both civil and criminal identification purposes. Apart from pelvis, skull plays an important role in the determination of sex.The present study is an attempt to develop a method to determine sex from the skull with lateral cephalometric radiograph using discriminant functional analysis.
