Inferencing, or guessing the meaning of novel words from the context or from internal clues, is a vocabulary comprehension skill. The structure of this book is described below. Andrew earned a Doctor of Education degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from the University of Leicester, England. He was a lecturer in the Open University of Hong Kong and currently a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia, teaching language courses to undergraduates and supervising postgraduates at Masters and PhD level.
