Imatinib an well reputed anti-cancer agent contain pyrimidine ring, composition of various biological enzymes and proteins of normal cell, as analogous of ATP inhibit the natural cell protein Kinase, hence responsible for non-specificity in activity with low selectivity and side effects. BMS-33197 an excellent Bcr-Abl kinase inhibitor contain an oxazole nucleolus responsible for its activity so various imatinib analogous were prepared isosterically.

Agrawal studied at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences,UTD, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, India and obtained her Master’s degree in the field of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2007.
