Synopsis
Avec les progrès des technologies sans fil et le développement des appareils mobiles, les réseaux mobiles ad hoc sont devenus une étape importante et jouent un rôle important dans l'établissement de la communication sans infrastructure fixe. Les nœuds sont libres de se déplacer au hasard et de communiquer entre eux par saut unique s'ils sont dans la plage de transmission ou via plusieurs sauts au-delà de la plage de transmission. En raison du comportement imprévisible de tels réseaux, il est difficile de maintenir la qualité de service (QoS) requise. La QoS dans MANET fait référence à la fourniture de services garantis sur la couche réseau, définie dans les mesures de performance entre l'application et le fournisseur de services. La première tâche importante dans le routage du réseau QoS est de trouver un itinéraire réalisable à travers le réseau entre la source et la destination. Cet itinéraire doit répondre à toutes les exigences pour remplir les contraintes QoS pour le service souhaité. L'accent du livre a été mis sur l'étude et le développement de protocoles de routage QoS contraints pour garantir un meilleur provisionnement QoS.
