Glosses are believed to have an important role in facilitating L2 vocabulary learning and reading comprehension. Nowadays, glosses are integrated with multimedia forms such as pictures, videos and sounds. The integration of glosses with multimedia has recently attracted great attention and interest in the field of language instruction. This book investigates the effect of different types of multimedia glosses on L2 reading comprehension and vocabulary production. It includes a theoretical review of the current trends in glossing. Biographie de l'auteur

Dr. Abbas Ali Zarei is a member of academic staff at IKI University in Qazvin, Iran. He has had 26 books and 28 articles published. He has also attended many international conferences across the world. Pershang Oshnouie Mahmoudzadeh has got her MA in TEFL. She is an experienced teacher and teaches at various institutes and universities.
