Synopsis

Kisspeptin is a neuropeptide hormone released from the hypothalamus to stimulate the GnRH release and regulation of the anterior pituitary secretory function. My book clarifies the effect of kisspeptin-10 on the secretions of LH, FSH, GH and PRL both in vivo (cattle and goat)and in viro (Anterior Pituitary). The book offers procedures to synthesize kisspeptin-10 in the laboratory, preparation of the assay buffers for the hormonal analysis. I am pleased to express my deepest gratitude to professor Tsutomu Hashizume, Dept. of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Iwate University, Japan, for the work planning and continuous help. Biographie de l'auteur

Ahmed Ezzat Ahmed is a lecturer of theriogenology, faculty of veterinary medicine, South Valley University, Egypt. He has a master in 2006 at South Valley University, and PhD in 2011 at Iwate university, Japan. Now, he is a visiting academic in Monash University (2012-2013), Australia doing research in reproductive neuroendocrinology.
