Advancements and rapid developments have led to many ramifications in the ever-changing world of Big Data. This book is structured to trace the advancements made and landmarks achieved in the field. This book not only incorporates latest and enhanced big data technique and practices but also shows how these techniques are applied into the practical assignments. The chapters are incorporated with illustrative examples to add an analytical insight on the subject. The book is logically organized to cover expanded and revised treatment of Big Data related activities. Big data is a field of research which came into picture recently and has developed insights from past two years. The Work is a proposal of new algorithm DF ICF which is a modification of the well known TF IDF used for page ranking. The new algorithm is mainly designed taking Big Data into consideration. The Algorithm tries to save time, find better results and also handle large amount of data efficiently which are some of the main challenges faced by Big Data. The work gives a clear idea about the big data, its current status, followed by the details of TF IDF along with its implementations.

Dr. Puneet Goswami is a Professor in CSE department at NIET, Gr. Noida .He completed his Ph.D & M.Tech in CSE from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science &Technology,Hisar.DR Somesh Kumar presently spearheads the IT department at NIET,Gr.Noida. Since 2000, he has been in teaching profession and is involved in various academic and research activity
