Synopsis

Supplemental irrigation is necessary for obtaining potential yield of wheat in rainfed areas. Irrigation and rainfall water use efficiencies are important in such areas, which are calculated as grain yield divided by rainfall and/or supplemental irrigation water. Therefore, water use efficiency of wheat under supplemental irrigation and rainfed conditions were investigated for the north of Iran in this book. Soil and water researchers, engineers and students can use findings of this study.

Biographie de l'auteur

Dr. Abolfazl Nasseri has obtained his PhD in irrigation & drainage from Tabriz University, Iran. His research findings were published in both international and national Journals. Now the Author is working as Assistant Professor at the East Azarbaijan Research Center for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Iran.
