Synopsis

This book is concerned with the standardization, formulation and manufacturing of the herbal medicine by using international standard methods. Many recent surveys revealed that the majority of people prefer plant based traditional medicines for their care, and the demand for herbal medicine is increasing in as the population grows. But unfortunately, herbal medicine practice for developing needs more and more. The present work will participate in standardization and developing herbal medicine, then in fighting and controlling diseases in worldwide. Our world has old and very rich traditions of herbal medicine. However, this important natural wealth is not expanded sufficiently in term of commercialization to compete with global trends. There must be a consolidation plan for promoting herbal health care products in commercial perspective. Therefore, by this book I aimed to encourage the Health Care Providers (Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses, Herbalists, Traditional healers ...), Patients, Officials, Media and Public to be viable in transferring this traditional wealth into modern drugs, which aid in developing and progressing of the pharmaceutical industries in worldwide.

Biographie de l'auteur

Murtada A.Oshi gained M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan. He is Permanent Registered Pharmacist in Sudan Medical Council. Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Technology (2010–untill now) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Omdurman Islamic University, Omdurman, Sudan.
