Synopsis

Cars can distinguished by their unique registration number on their number-plate. Using this as an authentic identity to enter into a secure system, a automated secure garage system is developed and modeled in this book. Through a systematic process, the image of the number plate is taken and processed. then it is distinguished with the reference from the database. If it matches with the database, the system allows the car to enter by opening the garage gate and closing them instantly after passing. It has a customized software and hardware design that will enable users to add or modify the security features.

Afaz Uddin Ahmed was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 10th October, 1987. He received his BSc in EEE from CUET, Bangladesh. He is working as a Research Assistant in University of Malaya and also doing his MSc on wireless communication. He also worked in Ericsson Bangladesh, Banglalink GSM (ORASCOM Telecom Bangladesh Ltd.) and GMG Airlines.
