Synopsis

Endosulfan residues in water cause definite damage to fish, Pesticides produce many biochemical changes in the intoxicated fresh water fishes by influencing the activities of enzymes and metabolites.fish serves as protein rich food for human beings and glycogen serves as a source of energy.It was observed that short term exposure of fishes to strong dose of endosulfan cause similar toxicity when exposed to long duration at low dose of endosulfan. Glycogen and Protin was lowered in liver, gill and intestine with respect to endosulfan concentration and with increases time duration of exposer.Endosulfan toxicant cause alteration in biochemical constituents in vital organisms.

Biographie de l'auteur

Madam completed her M.Sc. from Pune University and M.Phil. from Y.C.M.O.University Nashik. Her three reaserch articles are published in journals. Currently she is working as assistant professor. She presented an article in international conference.
