L'argent, le palladium, les nanoparticules bimétalliques Pd-Ag (NP) ont été préparées par des méthodes conventionnelles et ultrasonores. La méthode à ultrasons était capable de synthétiser des NP avec une distribution granulométrique plus étroite. Les NP préparés ont été caractérisés par différentes méthodes telles que la diffraction des rayons X, la microscopie électronique à transmission, la TEM haute résolution, la spectroscopie UV-vis, la microscopie à effet tunnel à balayage et l'analyse des rayons X dispersive d'énergie. Les nanofluides très stables dans l'eau distillée (DW) et l'éthylène glycol sans aucun tensioactif ont été préparés et leur conductivité électrique et leurs propriétés rhéologiques à différentes fractions volumiques et températures ont été mesurées. 26,4 % et 31,58 % des améliorations de viscosité de l'éthylène glycol ont été obtenues à 20 °C pour les nanofluides de 5 % d'argent et 5 % de Pd-Ag NPs, respectivement. Une augmentation de 3975 % de la conductivité électrique du DW à 50 °C a été obtenue pour le nanofluide contenant 2 % d'Ag. Des augmentations de 7567 % et 3841 % de la conductivité électrique de DW ont été observées à 25 °C pour les nanofluides de 1 % Pd et 1 % Pd-Ag NPs, respectivement.
