Effects of organic manures and fertilizers on soil properties under pearl millet-wheat cropping system: A long-term study. The effects of various combinations of organic manures (FYM, poultry manure and pressmud) and fertilizers on soil chemical and biological properties under pearl millet-wheat cropping sequence was selected for study. The integrated use of organic manures and fertilizers resulted in higher productivity, improved soil health and maintained the sustainability of pearl millet-wheat cropping system.
