Animal Breeding is considered by some students to be one of the difficult aspects of animal science. During the preparation of this book the author always remain conscious about the difficulties of students. The need for such a text book arose as there were a few books available in market and they were either too exhaustive or costly. We have attempted to cover the basics, without exhaustive details or repetitive examples. This book is not intended to be a beginner’s guide to animal breeding nor a substitute for reviews and the established text books. Biographie de l'auteur

Dr. Md. Mohan Mia received his B.Sc.A.H.(Hons.), M.Sc.(A.H.)in Animal Breeding and PhD degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He joined Sylhet Agricultural University in 2006 as a Professor, Department of Genetics and Animal Breeding. He is the author of many books and research articles published in home and abroad.
