Synopsis

In the book, Management Wisdom in India: A Study of the Sikh Religion, an attempt has been made to formulate and systematize the intuitive wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred scripture of the Sikhs, along with studying the life history and experiences of the Sikh Gurus in order to guide the corporate world and its mentors in their managerial pursuits. The book also includes the analysis of corporate Sikh managers regarding their management styles. It also studies the impact of the values and wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in their conduct as managerial leaders. The study is significant in being the maiden attempt in the said field. It will enlighten the corporate world as well as the whole society about the management perspectives in Sikhism.

Jasleen Kaur, M.Com.,MFC, Ph.D. has working as Head, School of Commerce and Management at Khalsa College, Patiala (India) since 1992. She has attended number of national and International conferences. Her main area of interest is Human Behaviour, Human Relations and Spirituality in Management.
