Synopsis
This book is useful in many ways. It shows how the information seeking behavior is different from the other professional groups. Besides, this study also explore the information seeking patterns of various categories of journalists. The chapter of contribution of newspaper libraries in news making is also discussed. The book is specially designed to cater to the information needs of students of Journalism and library professionals. This book is also discussed the various sources required and used by the journalists in their day to day work. Also discussed the information requirement of the various categories of journalists. It is felt that this book would be helpful to initiate further studies so that more empirical data is available to professionals to enable them to serve the journalists more effectively and efficiently.
