Synopsis
La question chypriote a suscité des réactions de la part des universitaires, des décideurs politiques, des organisations internationales ainsi que de plusieurs pays à travers le monde depuis des décennies. Le différend dans l'île semble être devenu plus compliqué après l'intervention de la République de Turquie en 1974. Et depuis lors, la controverse a continué à suivre une telle intervention et sa légalité en vertu du droit international a été contestée. Ce travail essaie de faire la lumière sur la position juridique de l'intervention de la Turquie dans l'île, et en même temps à examiner une solution probable à l'impasse politique entre les deux communautés chypriotes dans l'île. Les travaux examinent également comment la question chypriote affecte l'adhésion de la Turquie à l'UE et conclut qu'il est nécessaire de régler le différend de longue date dans l'île. .
