Synopsis
When changes happen in business processes at run time, the affected service-oriented systems should be adapted to accommodate the changes. Deciding the most suitable adaptation way is very critical and complicated. While there has been a lot of research working on adaptation of Web service composition, autonomic business-driven adaptation decision-making, particularly instance-based decision-making, is still an open research issue. In this book, we propose a set of business-driven instance-based adaptation decision-making solutions.

Deciding the most suitable adaptation way is very critical and complicated. Dr. Qinghua Lu is a lecturer at the College of Computer and Communication Engineering, China University of Petroleum. She received her PhD from University of New South Wales in 2013. Her research interests include software architecture, dependable distributed systems, business process management, and business-driven IT management.
