The study was undertaken on ‘Development of Deep Flow Hydroponics’ structure for cultivating Spinach crop in soilless culture. The media used for growing crop was sponge. Irrigation water was controlled daily, temperature, RH and moisture content readings were taken daily. The biometric characteristics of the plants were being also studied. The “Development of Deep Flow Hydroponics structure for cultivation of leafy vegetables was designed and installed successfully by us. Highest germination was achieved i.e. 100% in our hydroponic system which was 26% more than germination percentage quoted by the manufacturing company of seed. Yield of Spinach in deep flow hydroponic system was nearly twice than the yield obtained from open field conditions.
