Cette recherche décrit l'exploration de données d'un grand nombre de dossiers de patients d'une grande clinique d'aide auditive NHS (National Health Services), Royaume-Uni. Comme typique des données médicales en général, ces enregistrements audiologiques sont hétérogènes, contenant des audiogrammes, du texte structuré (comme la date de naissance, le sexe et la diagonose) et du texte non structuré (observations spécifiques faites sur chaque patient dans un texte libre). Cet ensemble de données audiologiques est unique, car il contient des enregistrements de patients prescrits avec des aides auditives ITE et BTE. Les aides auditives ITE ne sont généralement pas disponibles sur le British National Health Service en Angleterre. Cependant, les deux types d'aides sont prescrits dans cette grande installation du NHS au Royaume-Uni (dont les données sont utilisées dans cette recherche), ce qui est une caractéristique importante de ces données. Il y a deux questions de recherche pour cette recherche : 1.
