Synopsis
Le but de l'étude est d'examiner l'effet de l'enseignement PBL sur la réussite scolaire des élèves de 12e année, les compétences de résolution de problèmes et l'apprentissage autodirigé (SDL) dans l'unité de génétique et d'héritage après contrôle du niveau de réussite des élèves. Quasi expérience avec un groupe de contrôle non équivalent, et la conception prétest et post-test a été utilisée pour cette étude. L'étude a conclu que les étudiants PBL semblaient être meilleurs par rapport aux étudiants conventionnels en termes de réussite scolaire, de compétences de résolution de problèmes et de SDL. L'implication de l'étude a suggéré que PBL est considéré comme efficace dans l'apprentissage de la génétique et de l'unité d'héritage pour les élèves de 12e année dans les écoles qataries. Il a suggéré que l'approche PBL devrait être largement utilisée dans l'enseignement et l'apprentissage d'autres sujets de biologie dans le programme.
