When the journalist performs below society's expectations, who should take the flak? Several studies in developed countries have proffered answers to this question. Such answers however beg the issue in relation to Africa. This book is an empirical examination of journalism training and journalists performance. It crystallizes the views of journalism trainers and newspaper editors: two critical players in the journalism business. À propos de l?auteur
Dr.Olusegun Ojomo teaches Mass Communication at Babcock University, Nigeria. He holds a BSc and an MSc at the University of Lagos; and a PhD at Babcock University. His research interest is journalism training. He is also an alumnus of the International Institute of Journalism, Berlin, and the Radio Netherlands Training Centre, Amsterdam.
