Synopsis
Le changement climatique est actuellement l'une des plus grandes menaces à la conservation de l'environnement et à la sécurité des moyens de subsistance. Bien qu'il existe un consensus concernant l'impact substantiel du changement climatique au Népal, il existe encore une compréhension limitée à un niveau plus local de ce que peuvent être les impacts précis du changement climatique et de la façon dont les communautés devraient s'adapter. Cette étude a évalué les impacts du changement climatique sur les moyens de subsistance des agriculteurs avec certains faits et chiffres pour améliorer et vérifier la compréhension générale de ces impacts. En outre, cette étude a également évalué la contribution des pratiques communautaires de gestion de la biodiversité (CBM), dans le district de Bara au Népal, pour la résilience ou l'adaptation des communautés, à l'amélioration des moyens de subsistance, à la sécurité alimentaire, à un écosystème sain, à la conservation de la biodiversité et à d'autres questions connexes.
