Synopsis
Ce livre examine quatre projets d'écotourisme communautaire dans le parc national Amboro en Bolivie, qui ont été mis en place par des ONG environnementales locales. L'objectif est d'étudier l'impact de ces projets sur les moyens de subsistance et les relations sociales dans les communautés. En outre, l'analyse permettra également de formuler des recommandations politiques dans une certaine mesure. La principale question qui concerne cette recherche est de savoir si les projets ont été efficaces pour réduire ou atténuer la pauvreté et la vulnérabilité, tout en assurant la durabilité environnementale. La recherche fournira également un aperçu de l'impact des projets sur la structure sociale, culturelle et économique des communautés. En outre, il montrera également si les bénéficiaires considèrent les projets d'écotourisme communautaire comme une option importante de diversification des revenus et des activités, et s'ils considèrent les projets comme écologiquement durables. La recherche s'appuie sur des entretiens et des données recueillies lors de travaux de terrain en Bolivie en 2007. Quatre différents projets d'écotourisme communautaire dans le parc national Amboro ont été visités ainsi que des informateurs clés et des parties prenantes.
