Synopsis
Le béton est le produit artificiel le plus largement utilisé au monde, et est le deuxième après l'eau en tant que substance la plus utilisée au monde. C'est un matériau abordable et fiable qui est appliqué dans toute l'infrastructure des secteurs de la construction, de l'industrie, du transport, de la défense, des services publics et résidentiels de toute nation. Dans sa forme la plus simple, c'est un mélange de pâte de ciment et d'agrégats. Pour produire du béton de qualité, non seulement des ingrédients de bonne qualité sont nécessaires, mais de bonnes règles dans la fabrication du béton sont également essentielles. La qualité des ingrédients est toujours jugée en laboratoire en effectuant différents tests sur eux en suivant les procédures standard.
