L'enseignant a trouvé des contraintes dans la compréhension du texte anglais par les élèves telles que le vocabulaire limité ; les élèves manquent de mots courants, les étudiants qui ont peu de connaissances du vocabulaire auront des difficultés à comprendre la langue écrite. Lorsque les élèves n'ont pas de connaissances sur le sujet, il est difficile de conclure l'idée du texte, il est difficile de comprendre ce que le texte raconte. Cette recherche a utilisé la conception d'expérience. L'écrivain enseigne deux classes différentes à SMP Negeri 20 Tangerang. En recueillant des données, l'auteur donnera un test de compréhension de la lecture aux élèves en utilisant plusieurs choix, et questionneur dans l'enseignement de l'apprentissage en utilisant NHT dans la compréhension de la lecture. Le test est donné pour obtenir les données objectives de la réussite de l'élève en compréhension de la lecture en utilisant le type d'apprentissage coopératif NHT en classe expérimentale. Cela suggère que l'utilisation de l'apprentissage coopératif de type NHT est plus efficace que l'apprentissage conventionnel.
