La tendance actuelle du fonctionnement d'Internet étant si rapide, avec l'automatisation et l'augmentation de la vitesse et de la sophistication des outils d'attaque, chaque année doublant les vulnérabilités nouvellement découvertes et les administrateurs ont du mal à se tenir à jour avec les correctifs, augmentant la perméabilité des pare-feu avec des protocoles adaptés aux pare-feu conçus pour contourner les configurations de pare-feu, augmentant la menace des attaques d'infrastructure telles que le déni de services distribué. glace, vers ou attaque manque de cache du serveur de noms de domaine et ainsi de suite, trouver des solutions génériques devient également impossible. La rapidité avec laquelle l'Internet et les attaques malveillantes sur Internet augmentent, le coût du nettoyage et de la mise en ligne des systèmes critiques de l'entreprise est en flèche. Le besoin crucial de sécurité Internet au sein de l'organisation, donne l'idée de ce travail qui vise à concevoir une solution rentable et facile à utiliser basée sur le sous-réseau aux vulnérabilités du protocole de résolution d'adresse (ARP) et à sécuriser le réseau contre les attaques ARP en utilisant le concept de théorie des graphes, les ensembles minimaux dominants. L'accent de ce travail est sur un sous-réseau câblé.
