Synopsis
L'évolution du sol a fait l'objet d'une enquête commerciale dans des conditions naturelles. Les chronoséquences anthropiques des sols dans les zones côtières de Chine, qui résultent de la culture de sols dérivés de la récupération des zones humides côtières pendant des centaines à des milliers d'années, offrent de précieuses opportunités d'étudier l'évolution des sols sous des perturbations humaines intensives. Ce livre présente une étude de cas qui a intégré les aspects physiques, chimiques et microbiologiques de l'évolution du sol pendant 500 ans de culture en utilisant une chronoséquence anthropique du sol sur l'île de Chongming, en Chine. Cette étude devrait faire progresser notre compréhension de la dynamique des sols à long terme dans un monde dominé par l'homme aujourd'hui.
