Services trade has become a fast growing sector and a major catalyst for development in Fiji. This book therefore provides insights into the trade in services sector for Fiji and recommendations for Fiji to liberalise effectively in this area. It also discusses on the impacts of the mega-regionalism and trade in services liberalisation for Fiji and effective moves on negotiating trade agreements such as the Pacific Agreement on closer economic relations (PACER Plus) in the area of services and investment. The book also touches on the different sub-regional configurations in the Pacific including the newly established bloc in the North Pacific, the Micronesian Trade and Economic Community (MTEC).

Biographie de l'auteur

Miss Radika Kumar is a Phd Candidate at the University of the South Pacific. She is currently working as the National Trade Adviser for the Republic of Marshall Islands under the EU Funded Hub and Spokes II program. Her expertise include Trade and Economics. The views expressed in the book are of the authors and not of any persons or organization.
