Synopsis
Le processus d'élaboration de tableaux de taille corporelle pour une population donnée est très complexe car trop de variables sont impliquées. Les exigences sont souvent contradictoires car elles essaient de fournir le meilleur ajustement en utilisant un minimum de tailles. Avec la disponibilité d'outils mathématiques avancés et d'une base de données anthropométriques, il est désormais possible d'aborder le problème comme un problème d'optimisation et de construire un nouveau système de dimensionnement. Dans le livre, l'efficacité théorique de cette approche a été démontrée. Il contribuera à la catégorisation des tailles et des mesures en général et constituera une opportunité de développement de la pensée critique et de la conceptualisation car il serait impossible d'étudier l'industrie du vêtement sans entrer dans le domaine de la taille en détail. Les dimensions et tailles indiquées correspondent généralement à des vêtements ordinaires. Il serait changé pour les vêtements en cuir car l'épaisseur du cuir ; la doublure et l'entoilage occupent des espaces supplémentaires et deviennent renflés.
