Synopsis
Ce livre étudie les répétitions lexicales et morphologiques arabes trouvées dans le roman de Naguib Mahfouz Tharthara Fawg Alnel et leur traduction en anglais. Les principaux objectifs de l'étude sont de trouver les stratégies de traduction utilisées pour traduire les répétitions et si ces stratégies affectent le message original des répétitions. un autre objectif est de trouver les fonctions communicatives des répétitions. La typologie des répétitions telle qu'énoncée par Dickins et al (2002) a été utilisée. En outre, les stratégies de traduction fournies par différents chercheurs ont été utilisées avec la théorie Skopos.
