Synopsis
Depuis la première guerre mondiale, les chars de combat constituent l'un des atouts de combat de base de l'armée, décidant le plus souvent de leur force d'impact. Les chars sont utilisés pour soutenir l'infanterie (unités mécanisées de nos jours), en particulier pour détruire les points de terrain de résistance et pour combattre les véhicules de combat blindés de l'ennemi. Une séquence de facteurs comprend l'efficacité au combat d'un char de combat contemporain, comme suit : la protection blindée, le système de contrôle des incendies, la disposition du système de transmission et de commande de données, la maniabilité, etc. Cependant, l'armement reste le plus important, classant ainsi les chars de combat comme le principal facteur de combat direct sur le champ de bataille contemporain. Dans la monographie, j'ai présenté ma propre conception et les résultats de tests dynamiques de nouveaux projectiles de sous-calibre avec pénétrateurs segmentés qui se caractérisent par une résistance accrue aux forces de flexion gardant la cohésion du pénétrateur pendant le processus de pénétration.
