Synopsis
On sait que l'Égypte a le plus grand fardeau d'infection par le virus de l'hépatite C (VHC) dans le monde ; et la prévalence du virus a atteint 48% et aussi haut risque que 87,5% chez les patients atteints d'hémodialyse (HD). Le respect des précautions MH mises en œuvre par le personnel soignant MH est essentiel pour prévenir la transmission du virus dans les unités d'hémodialyse (HDU). L'étude visait à évaluer les connaissances et la pratique du personnel infirmier concernant la prévention de la transmission du VHC dans les UHD dans un hôpital universitaire en Égypte.
