Synopsis

At university, my research was how humor can have positive effect on learning English language because I found that a majority of students suffered from having stress in the classroom. According to many educational specialists, it also can be considered as an important obstacle in learning foreign language. Obviously, it is well realized that students are more willing to participate in classrooms in which they are strongly supported. As it is believed, learning a second or foreign language requires a particular “positive and relax" atmosphere in the classroom. The noticeable effects of humor in EL classrooms could be the injection of motivation, removing anxiety and stress and also creating a comfortable environment for foreign language learners.
