Our research program aims at developing new synthesis methods for inorganic-organic fine chemicals, for pharmaceutical intermediates, surfactant chemistry and so on, based on our accumulated synthetic technology. The proposed methods are selective in such a way that the corresponding structurally related by-products that could be formed in a given chemical reaction are not formed in significant amounts. To achieve this, catalytic technology is explored during the synthesis. Great efforts have also been put into the design and synthesis of catalyst to afford efficient and environmental benign chemical transformations.
