As per the current trend, efforts have been made towards the key areas such as making the use of computers as much energy efficient as much it is possible and designing algorithms and systems for efficiency related to computer technologies. This book discusses the methodology of minimizing power consumption in cloud computing environment and provide a promising solution to cut down metered bill and lower Carbon emissions.

J.K. Verma is Sr. Ph.D. Fellow at SC&SS, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. He received the degree of B.Tech from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India in 2008 and the degree of M.Tech from JNU in 2013. Currently, he is Visiting Research Scholar at University of Wurzburg, Germany.
