Synopsis

The current book aims at casting new light on rendering the metonymic words of the SL/Arabic text which are very difficult to render as TL lacks equivalence , and as a resort, the translator paraphrases them, which certainly affect divinity of the Quranic Message. Since both Arabic and English belong to two different language, indeed, it is more likely to problematic and difficult task to render metonymic words more accurately and properly, hence, this book also aims at probing how metonymic words can be render from Qura'nic Arabic into English.

Dr.Ali Albashir Mohammed Alhaj, is an associate professor of Applied linguistics( translation)and literature, Jazan University, Saudi Arabia.Dr.Ali obtained two Phds in English language.He published 25 international books. He also a translator, editor and expert in field of translation.He translated more than 10 books.
