Synopsis

Reservation Policies aka Affirmative Action been always a debatable issue when it comes to education. And things get more prominent when it is further classified for enrollment situations. The authors work is one step towards assessment of impact of such reservation policies. Regression Analysis is performed on the cleaned data which had been taken from an Engineering College. Hypothesis testing then revealed the significance of assessment and perseverance of reservation policy. At last, data mining tool WEKA was applied to predict the program for enrollment in accordance to reservation policy of candidate.
