The relationship between rainfall and river discharge in Luvuvhu River Catchment was investigated, including their time series analysis to determine their temporal fluctuations, lead relationship, and extreme events such as floods and droughts. This investigation revealed the existence of a strong positive correlation and a statistically significant relationship between rainfall and river discharge with a short memory lapse of 5 days.

Biographie de l'auteur

Lutendo Rhinah Singo was born in Limpopo Province, South Africa. She received her B.Sc. Hydrology degree in 2005 and M.Sc. degree in Hydrology and Water Resources in 2008 from University of Venda, Thohoyandou, South Africa. She recently submitted her PhD Environmental Sciences thesis for examinations at University of Venda.
