In this work, a computer model constructed and implemented using MATLAB, based on the principle equations of an antenna array which control the array pattern of isotropic sources in order to characterize the best antenna array pattern for mobile base stations.A variety of operating conditions are considered for determining the antenna array pattern, such as phase between sources, the number of array elements, and elements spacing.The following types of array antennas are discussed in this work : broadside array, ordinary end-fire array, end-fire array with increased directivity, collinear array.
