A cross-sectional study was conducted in Um Bada Health Center , Khartoum State during January-May 2016 120 patients were enrolled in the study to assess the association between H. pylori and gastrointestinal parasites infections. Blood samples were assessed for the presence of H. pylori infection by Immune-Chromatographic Test, while direct smear prepared from stool samples were used to assess the presence of intestinal parasites and to detect the H. pylori antigen. 120 patient who are suffer from abdominal pain were examined for H. pylori and gastrointestinal parasites 48 infected with intestine parasites, 18 (15%) infected with G. lambilia, 30 (25%) infected with Entamoeba spp. and 72 (60%) were negative. 91(75.8%) positive with H. pylori while 29 (24.2%) were negative. There is strong association between H. pylori infection and gastrointestinal parasites p. value 0.00. Early detection and treatment of H. pylori and Gastrointestinal parasites, awareness of population about intestinal parasites and H.pylori through health education and using different diagnostic methods to explore the actual role of H.pylori and Gastrointestinal parasites.
