Synopsis
The importance of information and communication technology is increasing day by day in all spheres of life. The content of the book "Computer Fundamentals and Applications" is an attempt to bring all basic concepts of computer at a common platform so as to serve as a ready reference to students. The course material divided into fifteen chapters is organised in a logical sequence and covers topics like Overview of computers, Computer memory, Input-Output devices, operating systems, file and folder management,networking etc. Towards the end of the chapters, multiple choice questions have been given for quick review of the subject. We hope this book will be handy for students for better understanding of fundamental concepts of computer as well as its applications.

Biographie de l'auteur
Dr. Md Irfan Ahmad Ansari is an Assistant Professor in the Department Of Agricultural Engineering, BAU, Ranchi, India . He obtained his B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) from Rajendra Agricultural University (RAU), Pusa, Bihar in 1998 with first rank. He obtained his M. Tech and Ph. D in Dairy and Food Engg. from IIT, Kharagpur, India.
