Synopsis

The present book contains a short review on the historical development of cosmological models with variable gravitational and cosmological constant. Also, it contains some anisotropic models considering a time varying nature of these two so called constants. The authors have obtained two accelerating anisotropic models assuming a decaying energy density and discussed the time variation nature of the cosmological and gravitational constant.

Mrs. Dipanjali Behera is working as a faculty member of the Department of Physics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang. Dr. Sunil Kumar Tripathy did his Ph.D in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from Sambalpur University. He is now working as faculty member of the Department of Physics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang.
