Synopsis

This review attempts to summarise recent progress in the development of hybrid materials based on KCC-1 NPs, with special emphasis on the various fabrication strategies employed in previously published reports. It is believed that the successful applications of such versatile nanocatalytic systems would play a key role in establishing sustainable technologies. In this study, a fibrous nano-silica supported sulfonic acid, which features with easy accessibility of active sites and high catalytic activity, was synthesized by a simple, cost-effective procedure. The synthesized nanocatalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity for the synthesis of the heterocyclic compounds under mild conditions to the easy accessibility of the active sites. Our developed catalyst showed enhanced catalytic activity, better than that of the well-known silica supported sulfonic acid catalysts. A high catalytic activity and ease of recovery from the reaction mixture by using external magnet and several reuses without any significant loss in performance are additional eco-friendly attributes of this catalytic system.

À propos de l?auteur

In this research, Fe3O4/KCC-1/SO4H, Fe3O4/KCC-1/HPG/SO4H, and Fe3O4/KCC-1/IL core–shell nanocom-posite was successfully prepared. These reaction conditions display a wide range of functional group tolerance. This catalyst should be helpful to development of new catalytic systems.
