The country's dependency on the imported wood preservatives attracts huge sums of foreign exchange, bearing in mind, it would enable the country to save much needed foreign exchange, thereby improving the national economy, which of course will reduce the demand of frequent felling of trees.

Mr. Thlama Daniel Mshelbwala, after obtaining his master in technology Forest Biology and Ecology Bachelor in Technology Forestry and wildlife management both in Federal University of Technology, Yola Adamawa state, Nigeria, has worked as a lecturer for the past eleven years, with the Federal college of forestry Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria.
