Synopsis

Total Quality Management (TQM) can be used as an efficient tool to improve the quality of a whole system considering all its components. This research has developed a quality assessment framework for assessing the quality of land administration system as well as the framework for applying TQM concepts to land administration using a step-wise approach of exploratory and explanatory case study research. This research identifies the elements, indicators, and variables that are required for assessing the quality of land administration system. The case of land administration system in Pakistan is presented and discussed using both exploratory & explanatory case study approaches. The quality improvement guidelines are then developed within the broad context of TQM for improving the quality of land administration system.

Biographie de l'auteur

Born on 15th January 1975 in Karnal Sher Killi, a town in Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. In August 2013, he got his PhD degree from ITC, University of Twente, the Netherlands. His research interest is the development of new techniques and methods in operation utilisation of Geo-ICT in Cadastre and Land Administration.
