Construction in the service of architecture is the subject to which the planning architect José Luis Moro devotes himself. He offers a contemporary, comprehensive and clear presentation of the principles of building construction and their structural implementation, in which the essentials are presented with a high degree of clarity in an easily understandable manner. In addition to imparting basic knowledge of materials and construction technology, it also shows the path from the basic solution principle to the technically elaborated structural detail.

Taschenbuch. Etat : Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Construction is the means used by the designing architect and engineer to transform a design idea into built reality. From this perspective, the subject of 'building-construction design' is dealt with by architect José Luis Moro in four comprehensive volumes. They are respectively dedicated to the methodological, physical, and functional principles, the conception of a constructional basic solution, and finally its implementation in the constructional detail. Not only is a wide range of content covered, but the greatest possible clarity is also ensured in order to make it easier for students to access the subject matter. An important focus of the work lies both on conveying technical and scientific factual information as well as on demonstrating complex relationships and interactions between design, material, and construction.Volume 2 deals with constructional aspects that influence the conceptual design of buildings and their components. This includes the assembly of building envelopes large-format continuous surface elements from individual components, taking into account different variants of flat and curved geometry and basic constructional design. As a further conceptually determining constructional criterion, primary supporting structures are dealt with in their most important elementary manifestations. In addition, established, predominantly material-related construction methods used in building practice are discussed. 944 pp. Englisch. N° de réf. du vendeur 9783662710050
