The distinction of training as a designer on the Industrial Design course at U.A.S. Graz is clearly shown by its co-operation with Audi, BMW, KTM, MAGNA and Porsche Design Studio. Design Impulse No.2 presents further innovative projects that have recently evolved under supervision by guest professors from the above companies. These have all happened since the 2010 exhibition at Designforum in Vienna. In addition to descriptions of the projects, we hear from course leader and author Gerhard Heufler; Roland Heiler, managing director at Porsche Design Studio; Gerhard Friedrich and Jurgen Haussmann, responsible for design of production programmes at BMW; and Leonhard Oberascher, design consultant, colour expert and artist.
